Prepare for Exams with Hard Work, not Stress: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today’s students are the future of the nation and will shoulder the responsibility of leading the country in the years ahead. He urged students to continuously improve their skills, knowledge and performance, and to refine themselves. The Chief Minister advised them to prepare for examinations with complete dedication and hard work, without taking any stress.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that examinations are just a phase of life, not the ultimate goal. Hard work should become a habit, but stress must never be allowed to dominate. He emphasised that self-confidence, discipline, and a balanced daily routine are the ultimate keys to success during examinations. Students should always maintain faith in themselves, move forward with determination rather than fear and work towards fulfilling all their dreams.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed students during the ‘Pareeksha Par Samwad – 2026’ held ahead of board examinations at the Government Subhash Higher Secondary Excellence School on Monday. He also provided guidance to help students prepare more effectively. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated they should remain stress-free during examinations, continue to work hard consistently and strive to achieve the best possible results, appealing to all students. He advised them on time management, regular practice and maintaining self-belief under all circumstances.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that learning from failure, rather than being afraid of it, is the hallmark of a strong personality. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making every possible effort to strengthen the education system. Through direct interaction, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav listened carefully to students’ queries and encouraged them to move forward with positive thinking while shaping their future.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also advised students to ensure adequate sleep during examination time, follow a structured study schedule, and develop the habit of reflecting on what they study. He noted that mere rote learning is not sufficient, and students should discuss syllabus topics with their friends and teachers. Responding to a question from student Lakshmi Tiwari, he emphasised the importance of continuous dialogue between parents and children.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked students whether they felt afraid of examinations. Student Aditya responded that regular preparation removes all fear of exams and that the syllabus should be divided for effective revision. Student Saraswati said that self-confidence is essential during examinations, recalling that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has described examinations as a celebration. Student Tanya Dubey shared that she always enters the examination hall with confidence. When asked about answering questions in the exam paper, student Himanshu said he first attempts the questions he knows well.

The presence of the Chief Minister filled the students with enthusiasm and excitement. Students asked questions freely during the direct interaction. Like a mentor, teacher, parent, and psychologist, the Chief Minister first understood their thoughts and concerns, spoke openly with them, and then addressed all their questions. Students also shared details about their exam preparations and the difficulties they faced. This warm and interactive dialogue provided students with mental strength before examinations and renewed energy to remain positive in every situation.

School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh said that examinations present a challenge every year, and students should focus on their preparation with proper time management while ensuring that stress does not overwhelm them. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav consistently engages with students, understands their difficulties and makes every effort to resolve them. He described the Chief Minister as a leader with up-to-date knowledge.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav offered floral tributes to the idol of Goddess Saraswati and formally began the interaction with students at the outset. Secretary, School Education, Dr. Sanjay Goyal; Commissioner, Public Instruction, Smt. Shilpa Gupta, the Principal of Subhash School, teachers, and a large number of students were present at the event.
