Lucknow, Feb 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday conducted the ‘Janta Darshan’ programme, during which he personally met each petitioner, listened to their grievances, and issued directions for prompt redressal. The Chief Minister urged citizens to approach officials posted at the district and divisional levels with their complaints before travelling to Lucknow.
He said officers at the district and division levels are fully committed to resolving public grievances. “If, for any reason, issues are not resolved there, people may certainly come to Lucknow,” he said, adding that addressing the problems of every distressed citizen is the government’s top priority. He directed officials to ensure that grievances are resolved at the district level under all circumstances.
CM firm on entrepreneurs’ issues; orders swift resolution
During the interaction, several entrepreneurs raised their concerns before the Chief Minister. Taking each application seriously, he directed the concerned departments—especially the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority and the district administration—to ensure immediate and time-bound solutions.
The Chief Minister said Uttar Pradesh has developed a robust investment ecosystem, supported by transparent mechanisms such as the single-window system. If any entrepreneur faces difficulties at any stage, those must be addressed on priority. He categorically stated that no delay or negligence would be tolerated in matters related to investment and industrial development.
Positive response to making physical education mandatory in primary schools
At the Janta Darshan, a citizen suggested making physical education activities mandatory in all primary schools under the Basic Education Council. The Chief Minister took the suggestion seriously and assured that the concerned department would be directed to take necessary action. He said education should not be limited to textbooks alone; sports and physical activities play a vital role in the holistic development of students.
He also instructed officials to ensure fair, transparent, and prompt action in matters related to illegal encroachments and police-related cases.

Seeing children who had come with their parents, the Chief Minister warmly interacted with them, asked about their classes, and engaged in light-hearted conversation. Encouraging them, he said, “Study with dedication. Play a lot, and by playing, keep blossoming.” He distributed chocolates to the children and blessed them with a bright future.
