CM Sai Flags Off Buses for Sangat Travelling to Hola Mohalla

Raipur, March 2026 : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai this evening visited the Railway Station Gurdwara in the state capital Raipur, where he bowed his head and offered prayers for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. On the occasion, he flagged off free buses arranged for the Sikh sangat travelling for the Hola Mohalla pilgrimage.

Around 1,200 devotees participated in the journey organised by the Sikh sangat, travelling in 17 buses, two trucks, and other vehicles to Shri Hazur Sahib and Gurdwara Nanak Jhira Sahib. The pilgrimage reflects the deep faith, tradition, and collective devotion of the Sikh community.

Extending his best wishes for a safe and auspicious journey, Chief Minister Sai said that the sacrifice, courage, and spirit of service shown by the Sikh Gurus are a source of inspiration for the entire nation. He noted that Hola Mohalla celebrations held at the sacred places associated with Guru Gobind Singh are not merely religious events but a living symbol of bravery, selfless service, and patriotism. The legacy of valour and dedication established by the Sikh Gurus, he said, will continue to inspire generations.

The Chief Minister expressed happiness that the Sikh sangat has been organising this grand pilgrimage continuously for the past 25 years and congratulated the Sikh community for sustaining this exemplary tradition with dedication and discipline.

On the occasion, Raipur Member of Parliament Brijmohan Agrawal, Chairman of the Minority Commission Amarjeet Singh Chhabra, President of the Gurdwara Management Committee Surendra Singh Chhabra, and a large number of representatives from the Sikh community were present.
