Spirit of Equality Holds Special Importance in Society: CM Dr. Yadav

Bhopal, June 2026 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the spirit of equality holds special importance in society. Everyone must work together to eliminate lines of division. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar carried out this important mission during his lifetime. Relations between Madhya Pradesh and Punjab will become stronger because Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made significant efforts to connect communities, social groups and states through various initiatives.

In this context, Prime Minister Shri Modi initiated the development of Panchteerth. As a result, work is being undertaken across different states of India for proper development of sacred places associated with the life of Dr. Ambedkar. Devotees and citizens have become eager to visit these sites. A new chapter of social harmony has begun.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Devda, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silawat, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Shri Gautam Tetwal, Chairman of State Scheduled Caste Commission Shri Kailash Jatav, members Shri Barelal and Shri Ramlal, MLA Ms Usha Thakur and Ms Neha Bagga were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcoming participants of the Panchteerth Yatra at the Chief Minister’s Residence. The pilgrimage commenced from Mohali (Chandigarh) on May 14 and will conclude in Delhi on June 21. Places included in the yatra are Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow), birthplace of Dr. Ambedkar, Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur, Indu Mill in Mumbai and Nirvan Sthal in Delhi. Shri S.R. Laddhar is the Convener of the yatra and Shri Manoj Chandal is the Co-convener.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that progress of every section of society is essential. Mutual goodwill among all sections is equally important. Many political parties and individuals engage only in dividing society and disrespecting great personalities. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, efforts are being made to establish the spirit of social equality. Not only is Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution being remembered, but work is also being done by following the path shown by him.

Pilgrims Delighted by Warm Hospitality

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the Panchteerth Yatra from Punjab to Madhya Pradesh and extended his best wishes for the remaining journey. Replicas of Baba Mahakal were also presented to pilgrims.

Pilgrims visiting the Chief Minister’s Residence expressed happiness over the hospitality extended to them in Madhya Pradesh. They thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and also had photographs taken with him. The programme was conducted by Shri Rahul Kothari.
