CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Celebrates Holi with Traditional Fervour at Khati­ma Residence

Dehradun, March 2026 : The festival of Holi was celebrated with traditional joy and cultural dignity at the private residence of Pushkar Singh Dhami in Nagla Tarai, Khatima. On the occasion, the Chief Minister, along with his family, warmly welcomed the visiting Holi singers and guests. He extended his greetings to the people of the state and applied abir and gulal to attendees as part of the festive celebrations.

During the Holi Milan ceremony, women from various communities presented vibrant cultural performances featuring Holi songs based on Hindi, Kumaoni, Tharu and Bengali folk traditions. Their musical and cultural presentations created a lively and festive atmosphere.

The event was filled with colorful cultural expressions and traditional folk melodies. The Chief Minister was also seen joyfully participating in the celebrations, dancing along with the Holi singers, which further enhanced the warmth and enthusiasm of the gathering.

Local residents also participated enthusiastically in the event. The celebration reflected the rich cultural heritage of the state and showcased the spirit of unity in diversity and community participation.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. He also called upon citizens to continue strengthening the values of love, harmony and mutual cooperation in society.

Among those present at the event were District Panchayat Chairman Ajay Maurya, Municipal Chairman Ramesh Chandra Joshi, Minister of State rank Farzana Begum, Amit Kumar Pandey, General Secretary Ramesh Chandra Joshi, Nandan Singh Khadayat, Gambhir Singh Dhami, Dan Singh Rawat, Satish Bhatt, Jeevan Dhami, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, along with other public representatives and officials.
