CM Dr. Yadav expresses grief over untimely demise of SDERF soldier and Nearby Resident

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed grief over the untimely demise of a villager and two SDERF soldiers while trying to save villagers and a cow in Kunwari river under Bhind district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has prayed for the peace of the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed the Bhind district administration to help the affected families.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, relief amount of Rs 25 lakh each has been approved to the families of deceased jawans Mr. Praveen Kushwaha and Mr. Hardas Chauhan and Rs 5 lakh to the family of deceased rural citizen Mr. Vijay Kushwaha in the incident.

It is noteworthy that on Thursday, SDERF Soldiers reached the spot after receiving information about the villagers being stranded in the Kunwari river. During the rescue, unfortunately, due to the boat capsizing, one Soldier each of SDERF and Home Guard and one villager died after being swept away in the strong current.
