MSME units are centers of industrial activity, foundation of self-reliance for millions – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is among the top three states in the country in terms of strength, economic stability, and sound financial management. The state government is providing every possible support and guidance to entrepreneurs encouraging them to march on. The doors are open to investors from across India and the world, and the government is ready to welcome them with industry-friendly policies and a cooperative approach.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh continues to contribute immensely to the Indian economy in every sector, whether industry or agriculture. MSME units are not only effective centers of industrial activity but also form the basis of self-reliance for millions of families.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing an event held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday on the theme ‘Empowered MSMEs – Developed Madhya Pradesh’. On the occasion, incentive assistance of more than ₹169.57 crore was transferred directly to the bank accounts of more than 257 MSME units with a single click. The Chief Minister also released the first installment of grant assistance of over Rs 28 lakh for startups. Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap presented an interim dividend cheque of Rs 8 crore from the Small Industries Corporation to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also handed over industrial land allocation letters to three entrepreneurs from Betul and Agar-Malwa, and distributed benefits under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana. The Chief Minister said that the event was being held on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, symbolizing the ideals of public welfare and purity preached by Lord Mahavira. Continuous innovations are being undertaken to ensure transparency and speed in systems to promote industrial and business activities and entrepreneurship in the state.
The government is simplifying access to capital, land and administrative processes for entrepreneurs, thereby making their path to growth easier. The direct transfer of a large amount through a single click reflects the ease and transparency of the system. At a time when the entire country is witnessing financial year-end closing in March, the state government is ensuring that MSME units and entrepreneurs receive financial support and facilities. This also symbolizes the beginning of a new financial year with renewed commitments.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the current global scenario, India feels secure and continues to progress under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Both sides in global conflicts seek India’s cooperation, which reflects the effectiveness of the Prime Minister’s policies. While the availability of petrol, diesel and gas has been affected in many countries, the Prime Minister has ensured that their prices in India remain stable. Under his leadership, India is strong and capable.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav remains active maintaining strong administrative dynamism. Due to his clear and comprehensive vision, the state is progressing in industry, trade, agriculture, and employment generation for youth.
Principal Secretary Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, digital and transparent systems have been established in the department, which has accelerated the land allocation process. Development work is currently underway in 25 industrial areas of the state, and 6 new industrial areas are also being developed.
