Ganeshotsav Should Be Celebrated with Enthusiasm, Peace, and Order: Guardian Minister Dadaji Bhuse

Nashik : Ganeshotsav, a significant festival in Maharashtra, should be celebrated with enthusiasm and a peaceful atmosphere, emphasized District Guardian Minister Dadaji Bhuse. He instructed that the festival be marked by harmony and without disturbance.

Guardian Minister Dadaji Bhuse made these remarks during the Ganeshotsav peace meeting and prize distribution ceremony for Ganeshotsav-2023, held at the Nijjan Bhavan Auditorium of the Collectorate. The event was attended by MLA Sima Here, Ganesha Festival President Samir Shete, District Collector Jalaj Sharma, Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik, Police Commissioner Circle-2 Monica Raut, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Prashant Bachhao, and other officials from various Ganesh Mandals.

Minister Bhuse stated that Ganeshotsav should be celebrated with zeal and tranquility while maintaining law and order. He highlighted the need for proper infrastructure, including roads, water, electricity, and sanitation. The state government has decided to award prizes to the best Ganesh Mandals at the state level, encouraging all Mandals to strive for recognition for Nashik. The Minister congratulated the Ganesh Mandals that received awards in 2023.

Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik stressed that community participation is crucial for a successful and peaceful Ganeshotsav this year. He encouraged everyone to contribute to a joyous and orderly festival.

Superintending Engineer (General Distribution) Shri Padalkar assured that the Mahavitran department would ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Ganeshotsav.

The awards for the Ganeshotsav Mandals of 2023 were as follows:

Circle-1

  • Welcome Co-operation Friends, Somwar Peth, Bhadrakali — First Prize: Rs. 75,000
  • Kailas Mitra Mandal, Makhmalabad Naka, Panchvati — Second Prize: Rs. 31,000
  • Annasaheb Murkute Art, Sports, and Cultural Friends Association, Pandit Colony, Gangapur Road, Nashik — Third Prize: Rs. 11,000
  • Public Library, Tikal Path, Nehru Garden, Nashik — Incentive: Rs. 4,100
  • Shivraj Foundation Vridavan Nagar, Adgaon, Nashik — Incentive: Rs. 4,100

Circle-2

  • Raja of Satpur, Public Ganeshotsav Committee, Satpur Colony, Nashik — First Prize (Jointly Awarded): Rs. 37,500
  • Shiv Kapaleshwar Yuva Pratishthan, Jadhav Sankul, Ambad, Nashik — First Prize (Jointly Awarded): Rs. 37,500
  • Ekta Various Development Services Institute, Mandal, Rajaratnanagar, CIDCO, Nashik — Second Prize (Jointly Awarded): Rs. 15,500
  • Raja Mitra Mandal of Kapaleshwar, Artillery Center Road, Nashik Road — Second Prize (Jointly Awarded): Rs. 15,500
  • Balaji Social Foundation, Regimental Plaza, Nashik Road — Third Prize: Rs. 11,000
  • Rickshaw Drivers-Owners Association, Bitco Point, Nashik — Encouragement Award: Rs. 4,100

The Lions Club of Metro, Nashik, presented the prize money to the Ganeshotsav Mandals for 2023. The meeting also provided a platform for Ganesh Mandal office bearers to present their difficulties and suggestions. Many presidents and office bearers from various Ganesh Mandals in the city attended the peace meeting.
