Minister Lakshmi Rajwade Conducts Surprise Visit to Silfili Market, Interacts Directly with People

Raipur, May 2026: In a visible demonstration of the state government’s commitment to good governance at the grassroots level, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade conducted a surprise visit to the Silfili market in the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency of Surajpur district on Saturday morning and interacted directly with local residents.

During her visit, Minister Rajwade walked through the vegetable market and various commercial areas, engaging warmly with traders, villagers, and women. Without any formalities, she reached out to people personally, enquired about their well-being, and listened seriously to issues related to their daily lives.

Several citizens shared concerns regarding local facilities, market arrangements, and other essential civic requirements during the interaction.

Taking immediate note of the grievances, the Minister issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials on the spot and directed them to ensure quick and effective resolution of the problems raised by the public.

She clearly stated that resolving public grievances must remain a top priority and warned that any negligence in addressing people’s concerns would not be tolerated.

During the visit, Minister Rajwade also informed citizens about various public welfare schemes being implemented by the government. She especially highlighted schemes aimed at benefiting women, children, and economically weaker sections, and urged eligible beneficiaries to take maximum advantage of these initiatives.
