‘Jal Ganga Samvardhan’ Campaign Achieving Its Goals Through Janbhagidari: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Kshipra Teerth Parikrama at Ramghat in Ujjain on Tuesday. On the occasion, the Indian Navy Band from Mumbai presented a captivating musical performance.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Ganga Dussehra is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Ujjain across the State. He said that the performance by the Indian Navy Band from Mumbai delighted everyone present. Through their melodious presentation, the band members made the evening memorable for the devotees and citizens gathered at Ramghat. The Chief Minister said that the two-day pilgrimage circumambulation of Moksha Dayini Maa Kshipra concluded on Tuesday with enthusiastic participation from thousands of devotees.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav offered prayers and ceremonially offered a chunari to Maa Kshipra in Ujjain.

Madhya Pradesh Ahead in Water Harvesting and Conservation

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that remarkable work is being carried out across the state under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Campaign. With public participation, water harvesting and conservation works are underway at major ponds, wells, stepwells, water bodies and river origins. So far, more than two lakh works have been completed under the campaign. He said that Madhya Pradesh has secured the top position in the country in water conservation.

Kalavati Yadav, District President Shri Jagdish Agrawal, Rural District President Shri Rajesh Dhakad, Scheduled Caste Commission Member Shri Ramlal Malviya, office-bearers of various corporations and boards and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
