Rain fury in Telangana: Union Minister of Home Affairs Sri Amit Shah speaks to CM Sri Revanth Reddy over phone and enquires about the flood situation in the state.

The Union Home Minister assures Centre’s support to the flood hit Telangana state.

Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah spoke to Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy on the phone and enquired about the situation in the flood affected areas in the state. The Chief Minister briefed Amit Shah about the damages caused due to heavy rains at the field level.

CM Revanth Reddy informed the Union Home Minister about the immediate precautions taken by the state government to prevent loss of life in the rain ravaged districts. Amit Shah assured that the union government will extend necessary immediate assistance including flood relief measures to the State.

The Chief Minister is already holding review meetings with state level officials and district Collectors directly and monitoring the situation constantly.

CM Revanth Reddy ordered the officials to take adequate precautions to prevent any unwanted incidents and assured full support to the families in the flood hit areas.
