Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah, Adviser To The Chief Minister, And Mla Visits District Project Office, Samagra Shiksha Lawngtlai
Lawngtlai : Today, Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah, Adviser to the Chief Minister and MLA of Lawngtlai East Constituency, visited the District Project Office of Samagra Shiksha in Lawngtlai. He was warmly received by District Project Coordinator (DPC) Lalchhanhima Chhangte and other staff.
Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah expressed his gratitude to the DPC and the staff during a brief speech. Recognizing the importance of the District Project Office in advancing education in the district, he encouraged the staff to continue working diligently. Emphasizing the importance of dedication, he remarked that success is always accompanied by commitment and hard work. He urged the staff to work with unity and sincerity, noting that disunity hinders progress.
Speaking on the issue of free textbooks, Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah assured that the government is working towards providing free textbooks for students. He expressed hope that this initiative would have a positive impact on the state and its people. He also encouraged all staff in the District Project Office to continue their efforts in improving educational infrastructure and ensuring better literacy rates, especially since Lawngtlai District has consistently struggled in this area. He urged the District Project Coordinator and his team to continue striving for progress in education.
Additionally, Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah visited Government Southern Standard Middle School and Government College Veng High School in Lawngtlai. He praised the students, recognizing their potential to become future leaders of the country. He emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping the lives of students and urged teachers to acknowledge their importance in the nation-building process. He also advised the students to work diligently and be mindful of the importance of education for both personal growth and the nation’s development.
Acknowledging the various challenges faced by the schools, Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah assured that the government is committed to addressing these issues. He reiterated that while the government may not be able to fulfill all needs at once, they are determined to make improvements gradually.
