Inauguration of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women and Children Hospital at Malegaon
Nashik : A 100-bed hospital dedicated to women and children has been inaugurated in the camp area of Malegaon city. This state-of-the-art hospital will offer advanced treatment methods for women and children up to 12 years of age. Nashik District Guardian Minister, Dadaji Bhuse, emphasized that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure high-quality care for the patients.
The dedication ceremony of the 100-bed Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women and Children Hospital took place in Malegaon this afternoon. Speaking at the event, Minister Bhuse highlighted that the hospital initially started with 40 beds and was later expanded to accommodate 100 beds. He acknowledged the significant support provided by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Public Health Minister Prof. Dr. Tanaji Sawant for the establishment and development of the hospital. Minister Bhuse assured that all necessary facilities will be made available for the treatment of women and children.
The hospital will organize monthly health check-up camps and provide various medical services. Additionally, the Shiv Bhojan scheme has been arranged to provide meals for the relatives of patients. Minister Bhuse also emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and cleanliness in the hospital, with CCTV cameras installed to monitor the premises.
Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar, retired Lieutenant General and Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, emphasized the importance of accessible medical services for the general public. She urged every woman to take advantage of the hospital’s services and stressed that women’s empowerment is essential for a developed India. She also encouraged women to come to the hospital for deliveries and ensure their children receive regular vaccinations, which are offered free of charge.
District Surgeon Dr. Charudatta Shinde commended Guardian Minister Bhuse for his consistent follow-up and meticulous planning in establishing this well-equipped hospital. Dr. Jyoti Waghmare, Coordinator of the Chief Minister’s Public Welfare Department, remarked that the hospital is equipped with modern facilities that will benefit women from ordinary families.
A large number of women, citizens, and health officials were present at the inauguration ceremony.
