State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes Working for Social Justice – Vice President Adv. Dharmapal Meshram
Mumbai : The State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes is actively working to expedite the resolution of service complaints from employees belonging to these communities, according to the Commission’s Vice President, Adv. Dharmapal Meshram.
Under the guidance and support of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, the Commission is striving towards equality and social justice. The government has implemented numerous schemes aimed at the upliftment of Scheduled Castes and Tribes, and the Commission is dedicated to addressing their issues. Meshram emphasized that the officers and employees of the Commission are working with integrity, and their cooperation is essential for the swift resolution of pending cases.
Vice President Meshram also noted that a hearing was held today to address complaints received by the Commission. He assured that the funds allocated by the state government to the Commission will be appropriately utilized to ensure justice for these communities. He further urged individuals belonging to Scheduled Castes and Tribes, including government employees and officers, to register their complaints on the Commission’s website at https://sjsa.maharashtra.gov.in/en/maharashtra-state-commission-sc-st.
The Commission’s primary role is to receive and investigate service complaints from SC/ST employees. It also works on issues related to welfare, reservations, protection, and the development of Scheduled Castes and Tribes, in accordance with the directives of the state government.
Adv. Meshram expressed gratitude to the state government for granting state minister status to the Chairman of the Commission, Anandraj Adsul. A hearing was organized today at the Commission’s office, located in the Aare Dairy School building in Worli, to address 15 complaints submitted to the State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Vice President Meshram was present at the event, along with Police Inspector Sonam Patil, Ramesh Valvi, and Parliamentary Officer Ratnaprabha Varadkar.
