RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Warns Against ‘Deep State’ and Calls for Hindu Unity

During the annual Vijayadashami event in Nagpur, Maharashtra, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed the rising threats posed by the ‘Deep State,’ ‘Wokeism,’ and ‘Cultural Marxists’ to India’s cultural traditions. He articulated that these groups aim to undermine societal values by exerting influence over key institutions such as education and media. Bhagwat emphasized the necessity of unity among Hindus, referencing recent events in Bangladesh where the Hindu community came together for protection against external threats. He cautioned that if radicalism continues to escalate, all minorities could be at risk.

In his speech, Bhagwat also pointed out ongoing discussions in Bangladesh regarding perceived threats from India, suggesting the involvement of external influences in these tensions. He acknowledged India’s advancements in technology and education while highlighting the global recognition of Indian philosophies, such as ‘Vasudev Kutumbkam’ and the practice of yoga.

Furthering his address during the Vijayadashami festival, Bhagwat criticized the handling of the RG Kar Hospital rape-murder case in Kolkata, labeling it a “shameful” illustration of the crime-politics nexus. He expressed disappointment over the delays in justice and the protection of criminals, urging society to remain vigilant to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

Bhagwat stressed the importance of reinstating traditional values towards women, calling upon families, society, and media to promote these ideals actively. He expressed concern over attempts to create divisions based on caste, language, and region, which he believes contribute to unrest in areas like Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir, and Kerala.

Moreover, he condemned the rising incidents of fanaticism and violence, coining the term “Grammar of Anarchy,” inspired by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Bhagwat emphasized the need for administrative measures to thwart such occurrences and urged society to stay alert and prepared for any challenges ahead.
