Lord Shri Ram took the entire society along: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the holy festival of Dussehra brings forth the approach and ideals of Lord Shri Ram, in which he gave the message of taking the society along without any means. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this year’s Dussehra is more important because Lord Shri Ram is now in Ayodhya after 500 years of struggle. We are conducting Shastra Puja programmes across the state this Dussehra in Madhya Pradesh. We are remembering the public welfare works of Lokmata Ahilya Devi on Vijayadashami. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Dussehra festival of Arera Rajdhani Utsav Samiti at Bittan Market in Bhopal today.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our Gods would carry weapons along with scriptures. They had started the tradition of Shastra Puja. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he recalled the activities of Lokmata while participating in the Shastra Puja programme organized today in Maheshwar, the city of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai. Lokmata Ahilya Bai contributed to the construction and development of Kashi, Vishwanath, Dwarka, and other Devasthanams. She presented ideal examples of good governance while working for the empowerment of women. She took significant steps in the development of cottage industries of Maheshwar as a result of which today Maheshwari saris are world famous.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also watched an excerpt of Ramlila presented by the artists. He worshiped Lord Shri Ram and crowned him. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 46 consecutive years of Vijayadashami festival celebration is an example of how active the Samiti has been. Late Shri Ramesh Chandra Aggarwal had started this project. The tradition of celebrating the Vijayadashami festival is being followed efficiently by the Samiti.

Director of Dainik Bhaskar Group, Shri Girish Aggarwal addressed the programme. On behalf of the  Bhaskar Group, he welcomed all the public representatives, guests, and citizens. Committee Chairman Shri Rajesh Vyas said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. MP Shri Alok Sharma also addressed the gathering. Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, former minister Shri PC Sharma, MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani, Shri Sumit Pachauri, Shri Shaitan Singh Pal, Shri Sunil Pandey and senior litterateur Shri Gauri Shankar Sharma were present in the programme. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached the tableau of Shri Ram temple of Ayodhya Dham and offered prayers to Devi Maa. The programme concluded with Ravana Dahan.
