Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performs gau-pujan in the gaushala of Maheshwar

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Saturday visited Maa Bhagwat Reva Gaushala at Maheshwar in Khargone district, where he performed gau-puja, and fed jaggery laddus and gau-grass to the holy cow. There are currently 126 cattle in this 21-year-old gaushala run by the villagers through a committee. Shri Vishal Geete and Shri Dilip Patidar of the Gaushala Sanchalak Samiti said that Bhagwat Katha is recited by Nagar Ji Maharaj every year in the gau-shala.  He said that efforts are being made to make the gaushala self-reliant by selling the milk obtained from milching cattle.
