108 Advertisements from Various Political Parties Certified by the State-Level Pre-Certification Committee

Mumbai : The Model Code of Conduct has been in effect across the state since October 15, 2024, for the Assembly General Election 2024. From October 15 to October 20, a total of 667 complaints were received on the C-Vigil app, with 660 complaints resolved by the Election Commission, achieving a 99% resolution rate, according to Dr. Kiran Kulkarni, Additional Chief Election Officer of the state.

The C-Vigil app, which assists vigilant citizens in ensuring adherence to the code of conduct, is available for download from any app store. Through this app, citizens can report code violations, which are then investigated by the concerned team and appropriate action is taken.

During enforcement actions carried out by various state and central government agencies, assets worth ₹27.78 crore, including illegal cash, liquor, drugs, and precious metals, were seized. Dr. Kulkarni also noted that the code of conduct is being effectively implemented across the state.

The State-Level Pre-Certification Committee has certified a total of 108 advertisements from various political parties, including video, creative, and audio ads.
