Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has announced a maximum bonus of Rs 12,000 to the employees of Chhattisgarh State Power Company. The Chief Minister today distributed appointment letters to 375 junior engineers selected through competitive examination in the three power companies of Chhattisgarh at the headquarters of Chhattisgarh State Power Company in the capital Raipur. He made this announcement while addressing the program on this occasion. He also launched a cashless health scheme for the officers-employees and pensioners of the power company.
MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal presided over the program. On this occasion, MLAs Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Anuj Sharma, Shri Moti Lal Sahu, Shri Rohit Sahu, Guru Shri Khuswant Saheb, Chhattisgarh Power Company Chairman Dr. Rohit Yadav, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P. Dayanand were also present. The Chief Minister also visited the stalls set up in the exhibition focused on power development in the state. In the program, he launched the Roof Top Solar Explorer App for the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme and released the promotional material, jingle, TV advertisement of this scheme. He also distributed name plates to be installed at the houses of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme.
Today, the Chief Minister provided appointment letters to 129 junior engineers of Chhattisgarh Power Transmission Company, 229 of Power Distribution Company and 17 of Power Generation Company.
While addressing the program, the Chief Minister wished everyone a Happy Dhanteras and Deepawali. The Chief Minister said that development has a deep relation with energy, as the pace of development increases, the consumption of energy also increases. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the target of a developed India by the year 2047. In such a situation, the responsibility of the officers and employees of the power company increases even more. Officers and employees will have to work with full capacity and enthusiasm for the development of the state. He said that at present the contribution of green energy in the power generation of the state is 15 percent, it has to be increased to 45 percent. Solar energy is being used in electrification in remote areas. Similarly, more than 1.5 lakh solar irrigation pumps have been installed in the state for irrigation. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, the target is to install roof-top power plants in 5 lakh houses in the state by the year 2027. With the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, you will not only generate electricity for your needs but will also become an electricity seller by selling the excess electricity.
Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal while addressing the program said that under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, a subsidy of up to Rs 78 thousand is given for installing a solar plant up to three kilowatts. Along with this, a bank loan of up to one and a half lakh rupees is also given for this. He urged everyone to take maximum advantage of this scheme. Chhattisgarh State Power Company Chairman Dr. Rohit Yadav said that energy resources have a major contribution in the economic development of the country. New appointments in power companies will make the functioning of the organization even more smooth. He gave detailed information about Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, Roof Top Solar Explorer App and Cashless Health Scheme.
