Tribute to Indira Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the State Secretariat

Mumbai : On the occasion of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s death anniversary and former Union Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik paid tribute at the State Secretariat today by offering garlands to their portraits.

The event was attended by State Project Director of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, R. Vimala, Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department Dilip Deshpande, along with officials and employees from the Secretariat and the Police Department.

On this occasion, marking National Unity Day and National Pledge Day, the Chief Secretary administered the oath of national unity to those present.
