During the Nagar Pravesh Yatra, the Kumbh Mela administration honored the procession of sadhus and saints with a floral tribute along the route.
In preparation for the Maha Kumbh to be held in January 2025 in Prayagraj, 13 Akharas have begun entering Kumbh City. As part of this, the grand city entry of Sri Panchadashanam Juna Akhara marked a momentous occasion for Maha Kumbh 2025. The procession reflected the resolve of the Yogi government to organize a divine, majestic, and well-structured Maha Kumbh, as seen in the Nagar Pravesh Yatra.
A Grand Entry of Sri Panchadashanam Juna Akhara into Kumbh Nagari

Akharas have started gathering in Kumbh Nagari to participate in this monumental event of faith along the banks of the Triveni Sangam. The city entry of Sri Panchadashanam Juna Akhara was marked by an impressive procession of sannyasis and mahatmas, who started from Hanuman Mandir in Ramapur village outside the city and proceeded to the Mauj Giri Ashram within Juna Akhara. Along the route, the Kumbh Mela administration and local residents warmly welcomed the Mahatmas with floral offerings, honoring the Mahamandaleshwars seated on silver thrones. The procession represented a vibrant spectacle of faith, devotion, and reverence.
Efficient Management of City Access Routes

The Mahakumbh Administration deployed a significant police force to ensure the safe and smooth progression of the Nagar Pravesh Yatra. Under the leadership of Additional Kumbh Mela Officer Vivek Chaturvedi, administrative officials escorted the saints from the departure point in Ramapur. The route was safeguarded by four circle officers, six inspectors, nine sub-inspectors, and 40 police personnel to maintain a steady flow of traffic. This setup ensured that the Nagar Pravesh Yatra proceeded without causing congestion or interruptions on the roads.
International Saints Praise Maha Kumbh Preparations

Over a thousand sadhus and saints joined Sri Panchadashanam Juna Akhara’s Nagar Pravesh Yatra. The procession included Maha Mandaleshwar and a large number of female saints from both India and abroad. Hema Nand Giri, a female saint from Nepal and Maha Mandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, remarked that it is a blessing that the region’s chief minister, who is also a saint, is leading the preparations for such a magnificent and divine Maha Kumbh. According to her, under Yogi Ji’s leadership, efforts to promote Sanatan Dharma are progressing rapidly across various nations, including Nepal.
