CM Dr. Yadav Unveils Coffee Table Book MPRDC: Connecting People through Quality Infrastructure

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled the coffee table book ‘MPRDC: Connecting People Through Quality Infrastructure’ at the Ministry. The publication has been jointly prepared by the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC), in collaboration with The Economic Times and other stakeholders, to showcase the state’s remarkable journey in infrastructure development, modern road connectivity and sustainable progress.

The launch ceremony was attended by Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Shri Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Shri Sukhbir Singh and senior departmental officials.

Comprehensive Showcase of Infrastructure Achievements

The coffee table book serves as a comprehensive document highlighting the department’s achievements, innovations and long-term vision for infrastructure development. It underscores the pivotal role of the Public Works Department and the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation in strengthening the state’s infrastructure and driving economic growth. The publication presents an engaging and fact-based account of major infrastructure projects undertaken by the department. It features major infrastructure projects developed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), including expressways, major roads, flyovers and bridges.

Highlighting Growth through Connectivity

The book also documents the progress, impact and development journey of road projects connecting the state’s major economic, industrial, religious and tourism centres. It showcases innovative initiatives, modern engineering practices, and advanced project management techniques adopted by the department.

In addition, the coffee table book outlines the future plans and long-term road infrastructure roadmap of the Public Works Department and the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation, reflecting the state’s continued commitment to building world-class transport infrastructure.
