A grand Rajyotsav will be organized in Naya Raipur from 04-06 November

Preparations are going on in full swing for the organization of Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day Rajyotsav 2024. The three-day grand Rajyotsav will be organized from 4 November to 6 November at Rajyotsav Sthal, Naya Raipur Atal Nagar. The work of decoration of the entire premises from the main stage to the Rajyotsav Sthal is being done at a fast pace. To publicize the government schemes and achievements, officers of all departments are busy preparing to set up exhibition stalls of their respective departments.

The State Foundation Day Rajyotsav 2024 will be inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on 4 November at 6 pm. The inaugural program will be presided over by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be the very special guest at the program. The program of Rajyotsav will be inaugurated on 5 November under the chief hospitality of Governor Shri Ramen Deka. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will preside over the program on this occasion. The State Decoration Ceremony and Rajyotsav will conclude on 6 November under the chief hospitality of Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. Governor Shri Ramen Deka will preside over the program on this occasion. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be the very special guests at the program.

In the three-day Rajyotsav program, Deputy Chief Ministers Mr. Arun Saw and Mr. Vijay Sharma, Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam, Mr. Dayal Das Baghel, Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Mr. Lakhanlal Dewangan, Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Mr. OP Choudhary, Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade and Mr. Tankaram Verma, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant, MP Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal, MLAs Mr. Rajesh Munat, Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Guru Khuswant Saheb, Indra Kumar Sahu and other public representatives will be the special guests of the program.

Renowned artists will present colourful and captivating cultural programmes at Rajyotsav. On 4 November, cultural programmes will start from 4.30 pm. Bollywood’s famous playback singer Shantun Mukherjee (Shanu) will perform at 7.45 pm. Before this, glimpses of 12 folk dances will be presented by Shri Rikhi Kshatriya’s team, Adivrindam by Shri Mohan Chauhan and companions, regional dance music by Shri Sunil Soni and team and Naam Ramayan by Shri Vidya Varchasvi. Similarly, on 5 November, at Rajyotsav, from 5 pm, cultural ‘Lahar Ganga’ by Shri Puranik Sahu, folk tunes by Shri Surendra Sahu, Bhola Yadav and companions, The Moon Light Raga by Shri Mohan Naidu and companions, Rajesh Awasthi, Ms. Aru Sahu and Ms. Neeti Mohan will be presented. On 6 November, under the cultural programme, Anurag Star Night by Shri Anurag Sharma, India’s Got Talent Mallakhamb by Shri Manoj Prasad, Jadoo Bastar by Shri Savi Srivastava and playback singing by Pawandeep and Arunita will be presented.

During Rajyotsav, all the departments of Chhattisgarh Government will organize a grand and attractive exhibition at Rajyotsav Sthal. A Shilp Gram is being built here, where various crafts of Chhattisgarh will be available for display and sale. Huge hangars (domes) have been built for the exhibition of government departments in the Rajyotsav Sthal premises. Stalls of government departments will be set up in Hangar-1 and 2, while commercial institutions will exhibit their products in Hangar-3. Exhibition of public sector institutions will be held in Hangar-4. Shilp Gram, Food Court and Meena Bazaar will be the center of attraction for the common people in Rajyotsav.
