District Administration Finalizes Preparations for Chhath Puja at Galta Teerth

Jaipur : In preparation for the upcoming Chhath Puja festival, Jaipur District Administration has finalized necessary arrangements in the Galta Ji Temple premises. District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni informed that salaries have been deposited in the bank accounts provided by all staff working at Galta Ji Temple. These accounts are in various banks including SBI, ICICI, HDFC Bank, Allahabad Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank, etc. Upon confirmation from them, any remaining payment amount will also be soon deposited in their bank accounts.

Additionally, he mentioned that the district administration has established a control room in the temple premises for Chhath Puja. Medical teams have been deployed, and comprehensive staff have been assigned for the decoration, lighting, and cleanliness of the temple premises.

He further stated that the Devasthan Department has also deployed its personnel for Chhath Puja. Adequate police staff have been assigned for the convenience and safety of devotees, and divers have been deployed by Civil Defense at the kunds (ponds). The Public Health and Engineering Department has ensured arrangements for drinking water. These arrangements are being continuously monitored by the Sub-Divisional Officer Jaipur First and Sub-Divisional Officer North.
