Rising Rajasthan ‘IT & Startup Pre-Summit’ to be Held on November 12 – Chief Guest CM Bhajanlal Sharma.
Jaipur : The ‘IT and Startup Pre-Summit’ will be organized on Tuesday, November 12, at Hotel ITC Rajputana, Jaipur, under the chief guest CM Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, as part of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit. The event, under the aegis of the Department of IT & Communication, the Department of Science & Technology, and the Confederation of Indian Industry, will see the presence of IT Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore. Investment agreements (MoUs) in technology and innovation will be signed, the Digital Rajasthan Journey will be flagged off, and funding checks will be distributed to startups.
Secretary of IT & Communication, Mrs. Archana Singh, stated that the pre-summit will focus on Rajasthan’s potential for digital transformation, the digital services provided to the public, and future growth through digital technologies. Opportunities in IT, innovation, and e-governance will also be widely discussed.
Two Sessions –
The program will be held in two sessions. The first session on ‘Building Rajasthan as an IT and Innovation Hub’ will feature technical experts, moderated by CEO of Data Ingenious Global Ltd, Mr. Ajay Data, with input from BISER’s ED Professor Purnendu Ghosh, Thrillophilia’s Co-Founder Ms. Chitra Gurnani Daga, Metacube Software’s Co-Founder Mr. Parijat Agarwal, and Center for Entertainment Arts Co-Founder Mr. Diwakar Gandhi. The second session will see addresses from CarDekho Co-Founder Mr. Anurag Jain, CEO of Prasar Bharati Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, and NVIDIA Director for South Asia Mr. Ganesh Mahabala.
MoUs to be Signed –
In the second session, in the presence of CM Shri Bhajanlal Sharma and IT Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, MoUs in the tech and IT fields will be signed. These MoUs with financial, educational, and corporate partners aim to strengthen Rajasthan’s startup ecosystem and boost innovation and technology.
Launch of Digital Rajasthan Journey –
The Digital Rajasthan Journey website will be launched, and the 2024 journey will be flagged off. In partnership with Inc42, the journey aims to highlight the impact of the internet and technology on the lives of citizens and local businesses, presenting a digital image of Rajasthan. The journey will pass through Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Bikaner, and Bharatpur.
Funding Checks for Startups –
During the pre-summit, funding checks will be distributed to startups in pre-seed, seed, and growth stages under the iStart program. This funding aims to foster innovation, accelerate growth, and promote entrepreneurship and technological advancement.
A roundtable conference will follow with representatives from industry, academia, and other invitees.
