Adequate Facilities at Counting Centers: District Collector Sanjay Yadav
Mumbai : Counting for the assembly constituencies in Mumbai district will be conducted on November 23, 2024. Adequate facilities have been arranged at all counting centers, as informed by Mumbai District Collector and Additional District Election Officer, Sanjay Yadav.
Today, Mr. Yadav visited the counting centers in Mumbai district to review the facilities. He instructed all election officers to ensure the counting process is conducted as per the directives of the Election Commission of India.
A separate medical assistance room has been set up at the centers, equipped with necessary medicines, medical staff, and ambulances. Help desks for counting personnel and inquiry desks for political representatives have been established, with direction boards installed to guide visitors.
Drinking water facilities have been arranged at all counting centers and their surrounding areas. Meals and refreshments will be provided for the officers and staff present. Fire trucks have been stationed for safety, and a media room has been prepared for journalists. Measures have been taken to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply throughout the process.
