Jawahar Singh Bedham Order at Rajsamand SP Office, Emphasizes Zero Tolerance Policy Against Criminals.
Jaipur : On Sunday, the Minister of State for Home, Shri Jawahar Singh Bedham, conducted a comprehensive review of the law and order situation in Rajsamand district at the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP), Rajsamand. The meeting was attended by Kumbhalgarh MLA Shri Surendra Singh Rathore and Rajsamand MLA Smt. Deepti Maheshwari, along with District Collector Balamukund Asawa, SP Manish Tripathi, Additional SP Mahendra Parik, Additional SP (Women’s Cell) Rajat, and all Deputy Superintendents of Police.
Shri Bedham reviewed various crime cases, including robbery, murder, dacoity, assault, theft, drug trafficking, and human trafficking. He also evaluated the status of cases related to crimes against women and issued specific instructions to remain vigilant against cybercrime while raising public awareness. The meeting also focused on measures to prevent road accidents, monitoring criminal activities, and ensuring prompt action. Emphasis was placed on prioritizing the safety of women and children. Discussions were held on strengthening police resources and manpower.
The Minister stated that maintaining law and order is the government’s top priority. He directed the police to take swift action against crimes and maintain a friendly relationship with the public. Special attention will be given to ensuring the safety of women and children. He reiterated that the Rajasthan government is working on a zero-tolerance policy against criminals.
Shri Bedham emphasized the vital role of the police in society, describing them as responsible for maintaining law and order. He said the police’s duties extend beyond preventing and investigating crimes to instilling a sense of security among citizens. Their presence helps uphold discipline and respect for the law in society. Police also play a significant role in traffic management, disaster response, and resolving social issues, contributing to the smooth functioning of daily life.
Additionally, the police play a crucial role in protecting the rights and freedoms of the general public. Special steps are taken to ensure the safety of women, children, and vulnerable sections of society. In emergencies like accidents, riots, or natural disasters, the police act promptly to provide relief and rescue services. Collaboration between the police and the public is essential for creating a safe and empowered society, which is vital for development and peace.
Kumbhalgarh MLA Shri Surendra Singh Rathore highlighted the importance of ensuring the highest level of safety for both tourists and local residents in the district. He assured full cooperation with the police administration and praised the swift and effective actions taken by the district police in crime control and maintaining security.
Rajsamand MLA Smt. Deepti Maheshwari stated that collective efforts are being made for the district’s security and development. She emphasized the need to strengthen communication between the police and the public to build a crime-free society. She commended the district police team’s efficiency and responsiveness, noting their success in crime control, security measures, and handling emergencies, which have earned public trust.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all police officials assured the Minister of State for Home that law and order would be maintained in the district. They pledged to work in coordination with one another to ensure safety and security.
