Government Partners with WorkRoot’s DIT Platform to Transform Telangana’s Employment Ecosystem
Telangana: WorkRoot, an AI-powered career and recruitment platform, has been a trusted partner of the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) since 2019, a flagship initiative under the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana. Over the years, WorkRoot has transitioned into DEET’s exclusive technology partner, playing a pivotal role in bridging the employment gap and empowering citizens from both urban and rural regions of Telangana with job opportunities aligned with their skills and aspirations.
The partnership exemplifies WorkRoot’s “build-operate-transform” model. From designing DEET’s core infrastructure to enhancing its accessibility and user experience, WorkRoot has been instrumental in the platform’s growth and impact. As the sole technology partner, WorkRoot continues to harness cutting-edge solutions to connect job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities. The transformation of DEET into a fully integrated government initiative underscores the success of WorkRoot’s innovative approach in addressing real-world employment challenges through technology.
At a special event in Peddapally this week, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana Anumula Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu unveiled the new DEET logo, marking a significant milestone in the platform’s evolution. The event highlighted DEET’s critical role in bridging the employment gap and providing equal access to opportunities for citizens across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, WorkRoot CEO Manikanth remarked, “Technology can be a great equalizer. Through our collaboration with Telangana, we are making employment opportunities more accessible to citizens, no matter where they live. This is just the beginning—we are committed to bringing the DEET model to other states to drive economic progress nationwide.”
Now fully integrated as a dedicated wing of the Government of Telangana, DEET continues to revolutionize the employment ecosystem by promoting skill development and connecting job seekers to opportunities across various sectors. With its proven success in Telangana, WorkRoot is already in discussions with other state governments to replicate this transformative model and accelerate economic development across India.
