Chief Secretary, Hovin Mizoram Governor Designate Hmuah Dan Tur Relho

Aizawl : Today, Mizoram Chief Secretary, Pu Khilli Ram Meena, IAS, announced that Mizoram Governor Designate, General (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC, will arrive in Aizawl on 8th January 2025 at the CS Conference Hall, MINECO. He will be received at Lengpui Airport and will then attend the swearing-in ceremony as the new Mizoram Governor at Raj Bhawan on 9th January 2025.

Mizoram’s new Governor Designate, General (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, will be welcomed by the Mizoram Chief Minister, along with other ministers and officials, at Lengpui Airport. A National Salute and the National Anthem will be performed upon his arrival. Following this, a formal reception will be held at Raj Bhawan.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Circular Lawn, Raj Bhawan, on 9th January 2025. The Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court will administer the oath of office. The ceremony will be attended by the Chief Minister, the Council of Ministers, the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Mizoram’s Member of Parliament, and other important officials and dignitaries.
