India’s Space Leap at the Start of the New Year

Mumbai : The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has set a record at the very beginning of the New Year by successfully launching ten satellites along with a space observatory and placing them in their intended orbits. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has welcomed the unprecedented success of ISRO’s ambitious ‘Exposat’ mission and congratulated ISRO and everyone involved in the mission.

Notably, one of the ten satellites in this mission belongs to Mumbai’s K.J. Somaiya College. The Chief Minister praised the scientific innovation of the college and extended congratulations to the participating researcher students, faculty, and experts involved in the project.

“On the very first day of the New Year, ISRO has given Indians a scientific gift. The consecutive successes of missions like Chandrayaan-3, Aditya-L1, and Gaganyaan-1 have elevated India’s pride globally. Following these successes, this new achievement will give significant momentum to space research. The success of ‘Exposat’ has boosted Indians’ confidence in space exploration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s support for science and space research has been instrumental in this success,” noted the Chief Minister.

He extended congratulations to all the scientists, researchers, engineers, and technicians involved in ISRO’s mission and the broader scientific community. The Chief Minister also wished success for all of ISRO’s future missions and experiments.
