Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s positive decision for the devotees of Gujarat to take a holy dip of faith in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh

From Monday, AC Volvo bus will depart from Ranip ST Depot, Ahmedabad every day at 7 am
 
Mahakumbh has special importance in Hindu Sanatan Dharma, which comes only once in 144 years. On this occasion, to make the journey of Mahakumbh easier for the devotees, the state government has taken a unique initiative to operate AC Volvo bus from Gujarat to Prayagraj every day, which shows the faith and dedication of the state government for the people of Gujarat.

To enable the devotees of Gujarat to immerse themselves in the Mahakumbh by going to Prayagraj, the Tourism Minister Shri Mulubhai Bera and the Transport Minister Shri Harsh Sanghvi, under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state Shri Bhupendra Patel, have jointly taken a positive decision. Under which the state government has decided to take AC Volvo buses from Gujarat to Prayagraj every day and has prepared an economy package for the devotees with night stay and bus travel.

This service will be started from Monday, January 27, 2025. On the first day, the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Bhupendra Patel, will flag off the yatra from Gandhinagar Circuit.

Thereafter, an AC Volvo bus will depart for Prayagraj from Ranip ST Depot, Ahmedabad every day at 7 am. 

A 3-night/4-day package for just Rs. 8100 per person has been prepared for the devotees of Gujarat by a joint initiative of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation and the Tourism Corporation. 

This package includes accommodation and bus travel for all 3 nights. The overnight stay at Prayagraj is at the dormitory of Gujarat Pavilion. 

Online booking of Prayagraj package can be done from 25/01/2025 through ST Corporation’s website www.gsrtc.in. 

The state government has made a humble effort to ensure that the people of the state take advantage of the holy Mahakumbh. However, as a large number of pilgrims are visiting Prayagraj, the timing and facilities are likely to change according to the situation.
