CM Vishnu Deo Sai Attends Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Listens to Krishna-Sudama Episode, Prays for Chhattisgarh’s Prosperity

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized at Ashoka Palm Meadows Colony, Dunda, Raipur today. On this auspicious occasion, he offered prayers to Lord Krishna and Radha Rani for the prosperity, peace, and well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh. Paying his respects at the Vyas Peeth, the CM received blessings from Katha Vyasa Pandit Krishna Gaur Shastri and attentively listened to the Krishna-Sudama episode.

Welcoming Pandit Krishna Gaur Shastri to Chhattisgarh, the sacred land of Mata Kaushalya, CM Sai expressed his gratitude for attending the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, calling it a great fortune. He emphasized that the Bhagwat Katha not only brings spiritual peace but also inspires people to walk the path of righteousness, love, and duty. He encouraged devotees to imbibe its divine teachings in their lives and prayed for strength to serve the people of Chhattisgarh with dedication and sincerity.

Chhattisgarh: The Land of Lord Ram’s Exile – Special Arrangements for Mahakumbh Pilgrims

Highlighting Chhattisgarh’s deep connection with Lord Ram, CM Sai reminded that a significant part of Lord Ram’s exile period was spent in the state, where he is revered as “Bhancha” (nephew). Under the “Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana”, the Chhattisgarh government has facilitated over 20,000 devotees to visit Ayodhya Dham for Lord Ram’s darshan.

Regarding the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the CM noted that this sacred event, occurring after 144 years, is a rare spiritual opportunity. To support devotees traveling from Chhattisgarh, the state government has set up a special “Chhattisgarh Pavilion” at Mahakumbh, offering free accommodation, meals, and other essential facilities, ensuring a hassle-free experience for pilgrims performing sacred baths, darshans, and religious rituals.

CM Sai congratulated the organizers for the successful execution of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, acknowledging its role in spreading positive energy and spiritual consciousness within society.

The event was graced by dignitaries including Bhupendra Savanni, Rajeev Agarwal, and Saral Modi, along with local leaders, organizers, and a large number of devotees.
