CM Shri Bhupendra Patel Visits Somnath to Inaugurate the First-ever Somnath Mahotsav

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel offered prayers at Shri Somnath Mahadev, the first among the 12 Jyotirlings, during his visit to Somnath for the inauguration of the first-ever Somnath Mahotsav, organized on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Welcomed with Vedic chants by the temple priests, the CM performed Jalabhishek with Ganga water and offered prayers. He prayed for everyone’s well-being and prosperity before receiving Prasad from Shri Somnath Trust.

Tourism Minister Shri Mulubhai Bera, MP Shri Rajesh Chudasama, MLA Shri Pradyuman Vaja, Secretary of Tourism and Devasthanam Management Dr Rajender Kumar, Secretary of Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board Shri Ramesh Merja, prominent dignitaries including Shri Mahendra Pithiya, Shri Rajshi Jotva, and Shri Mansinh Parmar, along with Gir-Somnath administration and Somnath Trust officials, remained present on the occasion.
