Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the implementation of MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit is progressing effectively, yielding positive results. He directed concerned departments to ensure coordination and continuous monitoring for the execution of these agreements.
On Sunday, at the Chief Minister’s residence, Mr. Sharma reviewed the implementation status of MoUs under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. He emphasized that the state government is committed to achieving a $350 billion economy and is working to ensure the effective execution of MoUs. Many investors who signed these agreements have already begun groundwork on their projects.
Resolving Public Concerns
With the upcoming summer season in mind, the Chief Minister instructed the Energy and Public Health Engineering Departments to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity and water. He also directed the Health Department to provide essential medicines and medical facilities at all health centers to prevent seasonal diseases. Senior officials were urged to conduct regular district visits and ensure the timely resolution of public grievances.
Identifying Land for New Industrial Zones
Mr. Sharma reiterated the state government’s commitment to making Rajasthan a leading industrial hub in the country. He directed RIICO to explore potential land for new industrial zones and work with district collectors to build a land bank for investors. The Chief Secretary was also instructed to review land allocation cases regularly to streamline the process for investors.
Review of District Administration by the CM
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of comprehensive development across Rajasthan in line with the Developed Rajasthan 2047 vision. He emphasized the need for thorough reviews of government schemes, Budget 2025-26, and Rising Rajasthan MoU implementation at all levels, from districts to villages. In the coming days, he will review district administration operations via video conferencing.
During the meeting, the Tourism Department provided a detailed report on the MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Summit. In the next review meeting, the Urban Development & Housing and Medical Education Departments will present department-wise updates on their MoU implementation.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Alok, Additional Chief Secretary (CM’s Office) Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary (Industries) Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (CM’s Office) Alok Gupta, and other senior officials from various departments.
