CM Sai’s Initiative to Elevate Jashpur on the National Tourism Map: Inauguration of Three Major Tourism Circuits

Exciting Launch of Adventure Sports at Mayali Nature Camp: A Platform for Tribal Talent and Employment for Youth

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has taken a historic step to redefine Jashpur’s identity by launching an adventure zone at Mayali Nature Camp in Kunkuri and inaugurating three key tourism circuits:

  1. Spiritual & Heritage Circuit
  2. Nature & Wildlife Circuit
  3. Adventure Tourism Circuit

This initiative will not only establish Jashpur as a leading tourist destination in Chhattisgarh but will also open new employment opportunities for the youth.

CM Sai personally embarked on a pontoon boat ride to witness the magnificent view of Madheshwar Mahadev, highlighting that Mayali Adventure Zone will become a hub of thrill and employment. The adventure zone now features activities like aqua cycling, kayaking, speed boating, floating jetties, and bumper boats.

A Glimpse of the Three Tourism Circuits

The newly inaugurated circuits highlight Jashpur’s diverse landscape and rich heritage:

  • Spiritual & Heritage Circuit: Starting from Kotebira, this circuit covers Tamta, Kailash Cave, Madheshwar Hills, Sharada Dham, and Gwalin Sarna, offering an immersive experience of faith, tradition, and tribal culture.
  • Nature & Wildlife Circuit: Designed for nature lovers, this circuit includes Makrabhanga Waterfall, Badalkhol Sanctuary, Ranidah and Gullu Waterfalls, and Sarudih Tea Gardens, making it a paradise for eco-tourists.
  • Adventure Tourism Circuit: Catering to adventure seekers, this circuit features Dangari Camp Site, Belwar Waterfall, Deshdekha Hill Camp, Sarna Eco Ethnic Resort, and Climbing Sectors, ideal for trekking, climbing, and nature camping.

Tribal Youth to Receive Mountaineering Training in Himachal

Under CM Sai’s initiative, tribal youth from Jashpur will undergo mountaineering and rope climbing training in Himachal Pradesh’s Miyad Valley. These trained individuals will return to train local youth, further strengthening tourism and youth empowerment.

CM Sai recalled how a young woman from Chhattisgarh was financially supported to hoist the national flag atop Mount Kilimanjaro, and he encouraged the youth to strive for similar achievements. Tejal Bhagat, a young trainee, expressed determination, saying, “Now it’s our turn to bring pride to the state!”

Self-Help Group Women Praise Tourism’s Impact

Women from Lakshmi and Tulsi Self-Help Groups at Mayali Nature Camp met CM Sai to express gratitude, stating that tourism has transformed their lives by providing regular income and employment opportunities for their families. As a token of appreciation, they presented a wooden artwork of Madheshwar Mahadev to the Chief Minister.

CM Sai’s vision is shaping tourism into more than just leisure—it is becoming a tool for social and economic empowerment. This historic initiative is set to bring Jashpur’s natural beauty, spiritual heritage, and tribal strength to the national spotlight.
