CM Bhajanlal Sharma Engages with Beneficiary Phoolchand in Alwar – Forest Minister Distributes Checks and Land Ownership Documents
Over ₹7 Crore Transferred to 6,500+ Beneficiaries
Jaipur : As part of the 7-day celebrations marking Rajasthan Foundation Day (March 30), a district-level Antyodaya Welfare Ceremony was held at Pratap Auditorium, Alwar, on the third day of the event. During the state-level program, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma transferred ₹100 crore via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the accounts of 92,000 construction workers across the state. Additionally, 20,000 families were provided ownership documents under the Swamitva Card Scheme.
In Alwar, the district-level ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Environment & Forests (Independent Charge) Shri Sanjay Sharma, District Chief Shri Balbir Singh Chhillar, Ramgarh MLA Shri Sukhwant Singh, District Collector Dr. Aartika Shukla, Deputy District Chief Smt. Lalita Meena, and other dignitaries, along with the beneficiaries.

The state-level event, held at Police Parade Ground, Bharatpur, was broadcast live via video conferencing (VC). During the event, CM Shri Bhajanlal Sharma took significant steps toward Antyodaya Welfare and a Prosperous Rajasthan, announcing:
- ₹300 crore for Dang, Magra, and Mewat Regional Development Plans
- Power-driven wheelchairs and assistive devices for differently-abled individuals
- Electric pottery wheels for traditional clay artisans
- Launch of the new Rural Development e-Work Portal 2.0 & Mobile App
He also unveiled key initiatives, including:
- Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme
- Dadu Deendayal Nomadic Empowerment Scheme
- MLA LAD Scheme’s Public Grievance Centers
- PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme (150 units free)
- New package under Maa Yojana & Maa Netra Voucher Scheme
- Guru Golwalkar Aashanvit Block Development Plan
- Guidelines for Equal Opportunity Policy for the Differently-Abled
State and Central Governments Committed to Antyodaya Welfare
At the district-level event, Forest Minister Shri Sanjay Sharma emphasized the state government’s commitment to public welfare under CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership. He highlighted the Swamitva Scheme, which has empowered many families by providing legal property documents, allowing them to access bank loans easily. He reiterated the government’s dedication to uplifting the underprivileged through various welfare initiatives.
CM’s Interaction with Beneficiary Phoolchand Prajapat
During the event, CM Bhajanlal Sharma interacted with Phoolchand Prajapat, a potter from Machadi village, Alwar. Phoolchand shared how he had been making clay pots for the past 10 years and was provided an electric pottery wheel and clay-kneading machine through the Shriyadi Mati Kala Board. This support has helped him produce better quality pots more efficiently, doubling his income from ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 per month. He expressed his gratitude to CM Bhajanlal Sharma for supporting traditional artisans.
The CM reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that government welfare schemes reach the last person in society, fostering positive change and economic upliftment.
Direct Benefit Transfer to Alwar Beneficiaries
Under the Antyodaya Welfare Program, a total of ₹6.97 crore was transferred via DBT to the accounts of 6,833 beneficiaries in Alwar district. Additionally, 1,100 beneficiaries received land ownership documents under the Swamitva Scheme, and 52 differently-abled individuals were provided 35 tricycles and 17 wheelchairs. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to PM Narendra Modi and CM Bhajanlal Sharma for their support through welfare schemes.
