Women’s Role in Social Change is Remarkable, Carriers of Culture and Values for the Next Generation: Deputy CM Diya Kumari

The oath-taking ceremony of the regional executive committee of the Women’s Wing of the All India Jangid Brahmin Mahasabha, Rajasthan State Unit, was held on Saturday at Vidyadhar Nagar. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari graced the event, extending congratulations to the newly appointed members and encouraging them to lead new milestones in women’s empowerment and inspire women across the state to become self-reliant.

Addressing the gathering, Diya Kumari praised the continuous social service efforts by the Jangid Brahmin community towards societal upliftment. She noted that today’s women are empowered and aware, making significant contributions to social welfare and progress. She emphasized that the community continues to engage in meaningful social initiatives and that talent within the society is being recognized and given due opportunities.

The Deputy CM stressed the importance of collective efforts for building a developed Rajasthan. She highlighted the need for educating children, promoting girls’ education, empowering women, fostering self-reliance among youth, supporting athletes, and instilling cultural values in the younger generation. She spoke about the government’s commitment to women’s development through initiatives like Lakhpati Didi and Solar Didi, and called for collective participation to make these schemes successful.

She further stated that both the Central and State governments are actively working to empower and make women self-reliant through welfare programs. She urged all women to take full advantage of government schemes and to help other women in need.

Additionally, Diya Kumari appealed to philanthropists in the community to strengthen their contributions to social service and development. She encouraged the newly appointed executive members to become agents of transformation and pave the way for community progress.

The event was attended by prominent dignitaries including National President Rampal, Ajit Mandon, former chief Ravishankar, State President Ghanshyam Panwar, Youth Wing State President Dharmveer Jangid, Women’s Wing State President Renu Jangid, Executive President Kanchan Jangid, Councilors Suresh Jangid, Amraram Jangid, Mandal President Rakesh Agarwal, Councilors Priyanka Agarwal and Roop Kanwar, along with newly appointed executive members, community leaders, women representatives, and volunteers.
