Consistent Government Efforts to Ease the Lives of Journalists – CM Devendra FadnavisTV Journalists Association Awards Ceremony

Mumbai – Journalists often face numerous challenges while gathering news. The race to break the story first pushes them to go to great lengths. In the process, many dedicate themselves entirely to their careers, often sacrificing time with their families. To ease the struggles of such hardworking journalists, the government has been making consistent efforts, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today.

He was speaking at the award ceremony organized by the TV Journalists Association at the Annabhau Sathe Auditorium. Present at the event were Industries Minister Uday Samant, Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam, MLA Prasad Lad, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad Prashant Damle, TV Journalists Association President Uday Jadhav, General Secretary Pankaj Dalvi, and Treasurer Pravin Patil.

The Chief Minister particularly praised the efforts of women journalists, noting that they often work in difficult conditions without basic facilities and still carry out their duties with precision and dedication. He assured that the government is committed to addressing the concerns of journalists and will work collaboratively with them to find solutions.

Expressing his satisfaction at attending the event, CM Fadnavis mentioned that this was the very first awards ceremony hosted by the TV Journalists Association, and he was glad to be part of it. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented during the event, recognizing the recipient’s outstanding contribution to the field of journalism. Awards like these serve as a true acknowledgment of work in the industry, and the initiative by the association is truly commendable, he added.

Awards were distributed in various categories including Best Journalist, Best Cameraperson, Best News Presenter, and recognition for journalists and cameramen from rural areas, along with the Lifetime Achievement Award. A large number of journalists attended the ceremony.
