Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Minister of Labour & Employment, Government of India, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, visited the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development at Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu on 09th May 2025.

During his visit, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya interacted with faculty and staff, appreciating the RGNIYD’s efforts in empowering youth through education, skill development, and sports initiatives. He delivered an insightful address to students, Staff and faculty, emphasizing the importance of preparing young individuals for future leadership, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities that contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat—a developed India.
Hon’ble Minister toured the RGNIYD campus, reviewed various programs designed to support youth growth, research, training, and policy development. He praised the institute’s dedication to fostering innovation, leadership, and employment readiness among young minds, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to youth-centric initiatives.
His visit marks a significant step in strengthening RGNIYD’s mission to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to build a progressive and empowered India and contribute to make India a developed country @ 2047.
