Disaster Management Training and Awareness Workshop Held in Jaipur

Jaipur — As part of the “Saksham Jaipur” initiative, a civil defence training programme is being conducted across the district under the guidance of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni. On Sunday, a disaster management awareness workshop was held at Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Ambabadi, where instructors from the Civil Defence Department provided training and information on how to respond during emergency situations.

Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Mr. Amit Sharma, informed that under the Saksham Jaipur campaign, daily civil defence training workshops are being organized at various locations across the district. These sessions aim to equip citizens with basic skills to protect themselves and others during any emergency. The workshops also provide detailed guidelines on what to do and what to avoid in crisis situations.

The program included training on disaster management strategies and survival techniques during wartime scenarios. Participants were educated on precautions to be taken during blackouts and were trained in emergency rescue methods, CPR, basic fire safety, and the operation of fire extinguishers.
