Photographer Pushpendra Vyas and Two Assembly Staff Retire; Public Service is a Lifetime Asset

Jaipur : Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani stated that public service is a significant and invaluable asset in the life of any officer or employee. He emphasized that government officers and staff dedicate a major part of their lives in service to the state. Addressing the employees of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, he urged them to uphold the dignity of the Assembly through their work. He advised them to develop a sense of dedication and loyalty to the institution. Punctuality, sincere discharge of duties, and leaving work on time are marks of a responsible employee, he said, adding that every individual should carry a spirit of “Nation First.”

Shri Devnani remarked that the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is the finest in the country, and every staff member plays a vital role in maintaining that standard.

Speaker Devnani was addressing the retirement ceremony of photographer Shri Pushpendra Vyas and Section Officer Shri Jugal Kishore Joshi at the Assembly on Friday. He stressed the importance of excellence in one’s work and contributing to the institution’s good name. He noted that if employees perform their duties with honesty, the institution will prioritize their welfare. He added that those who work in the Assembly are fortunate, as only a few get the opportunity to serve in this temple of democracy. He encouraged everyone to work with sincerity and a positive outlook, and to make collective efforts for the benefit of the institution. He also called upon them to use their best abilities for the development of the nation.

During the ceremony, Speaker Devnani honored the retirees with traditional turbans, shawls, and mementos. Leader of the Opposition Shri Tikaram Jully, also present, praised photographer Shri Vyas for capturing the historic moments of the Assembly. Other dignitaries present included Principal Secretary Shri Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Deputy Secretary Shri Sanjeev Sharma, and President of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Employees’ Credit Cooperative Society, Shri Ravi Jain, along with various Assembly officials and staff. Retirees Shri Vyas and Shri Joshi shared their experiences from their years of service.
