India’s Transformation Under PM Modi’s 11-Year Leadership: CM Dhami Highlights Achievements
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, addressing the media at the BJP office on the completion of 11 years of the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said that the country has progressed with the guiding mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas”—Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, and Efforts from all.
He emphasized that under PM Modi’s leadership, India has carved a distinct identity on the global stage as a strong, capable, and self-reliant nation. Remarkable efforts have been made to realize the vision of a developed India. The past 11 years have also been significant in preserving and promoting the country’s rich cultural heritage while steering major developmental and innovative initiatives.
The Chief Minister highlighted the success of transformative schemes like Ayushman Bharat, which has proven to be a boon in the healthcare sector, and Make in India, which has significantly increased India’s share in global exports. He noted that India has now emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy and a major global economic power.
He further elaborated on the benefits reaching the masses through welfare schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and the Free Ration Scheme. These initiatives have collectively reduced the poverty rate by over 80%, with more than 27 crore people rising above the poverty line in the past 11 years.
CM Dhami also commended PM Modi for his bold decisions, such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the ban on triple talaq. He stated that India is not only manufacturing indigenous defense equipment but is also exporting it worldwide, with a sharp rise in defense exports.
India’s global Ease of Doing Business ranking has improved significantly from 142 to 63. In the new tax regime, middle-class citizens now benefit from tax exemption on income up to ₹12.75 lakh, providing much-needed financial relief.
Infrastructure development has gained tremendous momentum under the Modi government. About 99% of villages are now connected by roads, with 34 km of highways being constructed daily. Rail and air connectivity has also expanded rapidly. The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam has paved the way for 33% reservation for women in Lok Sabha and State Assemblies.
The Startup India initiative has made India the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem. Highlighting state-level progress, CM Dhami stated that Uttarakhand has witnessed rapid development in all sectors under PM Modi’s guidance. Construction of the Rishikesh–Karnaprayag rail line is progressing swiftly, along with the Delhi–Dehradun Elevated Road. The upcoming ropeways at Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib will greatly benefit pilgrims and enhance spiritual tourism.
