Minister Pi Lalrinpuii Felicitates Miss Grand India 2025 1st Runner-Up Vanlaltluangi

Aizawl : Social Welfare, Women and Child Development Minister Pi Lalrinpuii today graced a felicitation programme in honour of Vanlaltluangi, 1st Runner-Up of Miss Grand India 2025, held at the I&PR Auditorium.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Pi Lalrinpuii expressed her appreciation for Vanlaltluangi’s achievement, saying it was a proud moment for Mizoram. She encouraged her to continue being an inspiration for others. The Minister also acknowledged the struggles faced by orphans and expressed gratitude for Vanlaltluangi’s efforts in representing those affected. She highlighted the government’s ongoing initiatives to support families affected by the pandemic and mentioned that awareness and support systems such as ‘Hulhhlîap’ are being set up for those unsure about their future.

Also present at the event were Women and Child Development Department Joint Secretary Pi Lalnunthari, I&PR Joint Director Pi Mina Zoliani, and other officials.
