Parliamentary Affairs Minister Inaugurates Newly Constructed School Building at Keriyanada

Cost of Rs 51.58 Lakh – Vision of a Modern and Advanced Educational Infrastructure in Rajasthan Will Be Realized: Minister Jogaram Patel

Jaipur Aug 2025 :Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Legal Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel formally inaugurated the newly constructed school building at Government Primary School, Keriyanada, under Gram Panchayat Loradi Dehagara, in Luni Assembly constituency. The building has been built at a cost of Rs 51.58 lakh. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati.

Shri Patel stated that under the able leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is giving top priority to quality education and infrastructural development of schools. He mentioned that in the last two budgets, the state government has sanctioned Rs 625 crore for educational buildings. This initiative will help realize the dream of a Rajasthan developed with a modern and advanced educational framework.

Rapid Efforts for Adequate Water Supply Across Rajasthan

The Minister said that the “double-engine government” is working on a war footing to ensure adequate water supply across Rajasthan. He highlighted key projects such as the Ramjal Setu Link Project for Eastern Rajasthan, the Yamuna Water Agreement for Shekhawati, the rejuvenation of Jawai Dam for Western Rajasthan, and the ongoing Phase-III Lift Canal works. Once completed, these projects will ensure the availability of water for drinking, agriculture, and industrial purposes.

‘Karmabhoomi Se Matribhumi’ Campaign

Shri Patel informed that the ‘Karmabhoomi Se Matribhumi’ campaign is being run to reconnect Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRRs) with their native villages and to revive the traditional culture of water conservation. Under this campaign, NRRs are providing financial and technical support in constructing recharge and water conservation structures. A total of 45,000 water structures will be constructed over the next four years.

State Government’s Welfare Initiatives for Farmers

The Minister also highlighted several welfare schemes initiated by the state government to support farmers. He announced that Rs 62.17 crore of pending input subsidies for the Kharif Samvat 2080 season in Luni Assembly constituency has been deposited into farmers’ bank accounts. The remaining Rs 6.87 crore will be credited shortly.

Encouragement to Include Millet in Daily Diet

Shri Patel emphasized that millet (Bajra) is being promoted as a nutritious grain called ‘Shree Ann’ to boost its production. He stressed that millet is not only beneficial for farmers but also highly advantageous for health, encouraging people to incorporate it into their daily diets.

Inauguration of Entrance Gate and Water Temple at Rohilla Khurd

Additionally, Shri Patel inaugurated the entrance gate and water temple built in memory of Late Puraram Ji by his family at Government Upper Primary School, Rohilla Khurd. He lauded the philanthropic initiatives (Bhamashahs) for school development, calling them an inspiration for all.
