Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Year 2025: Grand Photo Exhibition and Quiz Competition at Raipur Town Hall

Raipur, Aug 2025 – To mark the completion of 25 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh state, a grand photo exhibition has been organized at the historic Town Hall in the capital city, Raipur, under the Silver Jubilee Year 2025 celebrations. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the exhibition on Independence Day, August 15. The exhibition will remain open to the public free of cost until August 21.

Organized by the Public Relations Department of the Chhattisgarh Government, the exhibition showcases rare photographs depicting the state’s glorious traditions, history of the freedom struggle, and the journey of statehood. A digital slideshow on contemporary events has also become a major attraction for visitors. Large numbers of students, citizens, and intellectuals are attending the exhibition.

Alongside the exhibition, a general knowledge quiz competition for children is also being held. Today, students from various hostels and schools of Raipur city enthusiastically participated, answering questions related to statehood as well as general knowledge. Faisal, a student of the Mathpurena Tribal Boys’ Hostel, answered 10 questions correctly. Namrata, a Class 8 student from the Residential Girls’ Hostel, impressed everyone by answering 11 questions correctly.

Rahul Sahu, an eighth-grade student from Maharana Pratap Nayapara Hostel, also answered 10 questions successfully, while Sameer Jangde from Ganjpara Residential Boys’ Hostel answered 9 questions correctly. Sameer is also a state-level hockey player.

The initiative of the Chhattisgarh Government and the Public Relations Department aims to familiarize the younger generation with the state’s proud history and the sacrifices of freedom fighters. Programs like the photo exhibition and quiz competition not only enhance knowledge but also instill a sense of pride in Chhattisgarh’s culture and heritage among children.
