Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Year 2025: Photo Exhibition by Public Relations Department Attracts Raipur Residents

Raipur, Aug 2025 –As part of the celebrations for Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year, a photo exhibition organized by the Department of Public Relations at Raipur’s Town Hall is drawing great interest from the capital’s residents. Alongside the exhibition, a quiz competition modeled on “Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)” is being held, where young participants are enthusiastically taking part.

The exhibition showcases rare photographs depicting Chhattisgarh’s traditions, the history of the freedom struggle, life sketches of prominent leaders, their invaluable contribution to India’s independence, and the journey of statehood formation. In addition, the government’s achievements are being displayed through a digital slideshow on large screens.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated this photo exhibition on Independence Day. The exhibition highlights Chhattisgarh’s progress through various welfare schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Krishak Unnati Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Vishnu Ka Sushasan – Samvad se Samadhan Tak, Sushasan Tihar Chhattisgarh Anjor, the state’s first Tribal Museum, Swarnim Bhavishya Ki Rah, Industrial Policy, New Education Policy for a Brighter Future, and Vananchal Ma Samriddhi ke Aadhar – Hamaar Hara Sona (Our Green Gold), among others. It also puts a spotlight on the state’s achievements over the years.

The seven-day exhibition, open until August 21, will remain free for the public daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

On Sunday, a group of students from J.R. Dani Girls Higher Secondary School visited the exhibition and also participated in the quiz. Students Sarita Yadav, Kashish Srivas, Hema Patel, and Chhaya Lalwani shared that the exhibition was both interesting and informative. The quiz, based on Chhattisgarh’s history and general knowledge, is engaging schoolchildren and hostel students from across Raipur. Winners of the quiz are being awarded prizes.

The exhibition has also been appreciated by several dignitaries and attendees, including Principal Dr. Hitesh Kumar Dewangan, Lecturer Mrs. Yogita Chandravanshi, Cluster Coordinator Mr. Khomeshwar Ram Dewangan, Lecturer Mrs. Meena Bhardwaj, and Dr. Bhishma Sonkar, a family member of a freedom fighter. Many visitors shared their experiences and suggestions in the visitors’ book, praising the effort.
