Home Minister Dr. Pankaj Bhoyer Inspects New Police Station in Chandur Railway

Amravati, Aug 2025: Home Minister Dr. Pankaj Bhoyer visited the police station in Chandur Railway today. During his visit, he received information about the existing police station in the district and subsequently inspected the construction of the new police station that is currently underway.

Also present during the visit were MLA Pratap Adsad, District Superintendent of Police Vishal Anand, Sub-Divisional Officer Tejaswini Kore, and others.

Initially, Minister Dr. Bhoyer visited the Chandur Railway police station where he collected information about the police station buildings in the district from Superintendent of Police Vishal Anand. He noted that a proposal for the buildings of police stations in the district has been submitted. Once approved, the construction work will be completed promptly. Following this, Dr. Bhoyer inspected the ongoing construction of the police station and instructed that the work should be completed quickly while maintaining high-quality standards. He mentioned that the target is to finish the work by November. He also instructed that other building works in the taluka should be completed to facilitate a formal inauguration by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

A budget of ₹12 crores has been allocated for the construction of three new police station buildings in Asegav Purna, Chandur Railway, and Benoda. This work is scheduled to be completed by November 2025. Each police station will have construction area of approximately 1,000 square meters, including a ground floor and a first floor with facilities. Dr. Bhoyer emphasized that the construction of the police stations should be of good quality. He also proposed the establishment of a high-quality swimming pool and gym in Chandur Railway for the convenience of the citizens, requesting that the proposal for this be submitted urgently. He stated that the maintenance and repairs of the swimming pool and gym should be handled by the police department, which will help in keeping these facilities well-maintained.
