Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Invites Investors to Invest in Chhattisgarh During South Korea Visit
Industrial Policy 2024–30, Natural Resources, Skilled Human Capital, and Strong Connectivity Make Chhattisgarh an Ideal Destination for Global Partnerships: Chief Minister
Raipur, Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, during his visit to South Korea, invited investors to invest in Chhattisgarh. Speaking at the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program organized in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, the Chief Minister presented detailed information about the investment opportunities in the state before the Korea International Trade Association and investors. He said that with its proactive and development-oriented Industrial Policy 2024–30, abundant natural resources, and trained workforce, Chhattisgarh is fully prepared for global investment and industrial cooperation.
Chief Minister Sai said that Korean brands are a part of every Indian household. Companies like LG, Samsung, and Hyundai have reached even remote villages. He added that Chhattisgarh has abundant availability of water, energy, iron ore, steel, and excellent connectivity. These resources open new doors of opportunity for South Korean investors.
The Chief Minister assured investors that the state government would provide full support at every level through single-window clearance, ease of doing business, and industry-friendly policies. He said that Chhattisgarh today welcomes global investment in sectors such as minerals, energy, steel, food processing, electronics manufacturing, and IT-startups.
Chief Minister Sai also emphasized that Chhattisgarh’s development model is not limited to industrial progress but is also focused on providing employment to youth, self-reliance to women, and better value for farmers’ produce. He said that along with industrial investment, social empowerment remains our priority.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also met India’s Ambassador to South Korea, Shri Amit Kumar, at the Indian Embassy in Seoul, and discussed in detail the investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that discussions were held on strengthening bilateral economic partnerships ranging from steel and minerals to electronics and food processing.
Highlighting the cultural and business ties between South Korea and Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Sai said that these partnerships would accelerate technology transfer, research and innovation, and the creation of high-value employment opportunities. He urged Korean investors to choose Chhattisgarh as their new destination for industrial investment and become part of this journey of shared prosperity.
On this occasion, senior officials of the state’s Industries Department and representatives of investment promotion agencies were also present along with the Chief Minister.
