Providing Immediate Relief to People Affected by Heavy Rainfall Must Be Top Priority, Conduct Intensive Monitoring in the Field – Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa

Bhilwara District In-Charge Minister Reviews Rain-Affected Situation, Orders Quick Relief and Repair Works

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Deputy Chief Minister and Bhilwara District In-Charge Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa on Sunday chaired a meeting at the District Collectorate auditorium during his one-day visit to Bhilwara. The meeting focused on issues related to heavy rainfall in the district. Dr. Bairwa conducted a detailed review of the situation in rain-affected areas and directed officials to prioritize providing immediate relief to the affected population.

He instructed officials from disaster relief and rainfall-related departments to remain alert in the field and conduct intensive monitoring. Any issue reported must be resolved immediately, with prompt assistance provided to those in need.

The Deputy CM also ordered urgent repair and patchwork of critical roads and directed that adequate availability of fodder for livestock be ensured.

Reviewing crop damage, Dr. Bairwa called for the early completion of online girdawari (crop loss survey) and preparation of compensation proposals to be sent to higher authorities. He emphasized that timely compensation would provide much-needed relief to the affected farmers of the district.

Focus on Upcoming Campaigns

During the meeting, Dr. Bairwa also reviewed preparations for the upcoming “Gaon Chalo, Shahar Chalo” campaign and the Cooperative Membership Drive to be undertaken by the state government. He instructed officials to widely publicize these campaigns and ensure maximum public participation for their success.

Review of Panch Gaurav Program

The Deputy CM further reviewed the progress of the Panch Gaurav Program, which highlights five key products identified for the district. The District Collector informed him that proposals for the development and promotion of these products have already been submitted to the state government. Once financial assistance is approved, necessary development work will be carried out.

District Collector Mr. Sandhu also gave a detailed presentation on various aspects of heavy rainfall impacts, informing that the district administration is closely monitoring every situation.
