Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal Holds Departmental Review Meeting

Issued Necessary Directions for Effective Implementation of Departmental Schemes

Raipur, Sept 2025 : To provide employment opportunities for the youth of Bastar and Sarguja regions, free training in hotel management will be offered. Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal instructed officials to prepare a proposal for reimbursement of expenses incurred on such training through the Bastar and Sarguja Development Authorities.

In the departmental review meeting of the Tourism and Culture Department, Minister Agrawal also reviewed preparations for the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Celebrations and issued necessary directions to department officials.

He took updates on the Shri Ramlala Ayodhya Dham Darshan Scheme and held discussions with officials regarding the improved organization of upcoming events such as the Chakradhar Festival, Bastar Pandum, and Ramgarh Mahotsav. He further instructed officials to encourage local artists of various art forms, provide them platforms, and extend all necessary support to refine and showcase their talents.

The meeting was attended by Tourism and Culture Department Secretary Rohit Yadav, Culture Director Vivek Acharya, along with other senior officials of the department.
